Alright folks this has been a while in the making but the time has come to seperate the serious bloggers from the water testers. By now you should all know two things. Backlinks are the single most important ingredient to making money online and they are a bugger to get – especially good ones.
The single best source for backlinks are your friends. Get involved in a community of like minded individuals and help each other out. This is the best way for beginners to get involved, learn and grow online. I have added a page to this blog entitled Friendz of Griz and on it is a list of bloggers I have got to know and trust. You should get to know them as well. Help them and they will help you. The list is far from complete and there are many others I would like to add but I thought I would wait to hear from them first – if you want on the list please let me know.
Now let’s talk about what you can do if you have reached the stage where growth is necessary to increase your earnings. I’m talking about those of you who have niches that have proven to be profitable but you just can’t get to the top of the serp’s. If you are on page 2 of the serp’s and making $5 – $10 a day with adsense then you know your profits will increase if only you can break into the top ten. You make the odd affiliate sale but know the potential is there if you could only move up the ranks. If you are not at this level then this post is not for you.
A friend who many of you know but I will be keeping quiet about is in the process of finalizing a private blog network. This network currently consists of 250 blogs, mostly PR3′s and he is adding more blogs daily. Let me make this point right up front. This is not my network and I am not financially involved in it nor will I be earning commissions from promoting it. In fact there will be no affiliate program. This network was devised originally for private use for a few trusted people and it will more or less remain as such except that he will allow others in on an invite only basis. I have agreed to help him in this respect for the same reason I have helped others – because I can.
I pondered contacting many of you by email but that smacks of spam to me and I have never sent out a mailing to my list in all my time online and don’t wish to start now. Instead I thought I would put the word out and let you contact me.
Before you do though let me give you some details.
This network is not for beginners or people with spam sites.
We are only looking for people with experience and who know the value of original content. You must have legitimate quality blogs in order to use the network.
This will not be free. The owner has invested a lot of money and time developing this and it will be a full time job running the program. He is entitled to make a decent living from it. He will offer an introductory price for the first month for users to try it out.
There will be a monthly fee in the neighborhood of $127. If you are not in a position to earn back this fee with your sites then this isn’t for you.
This network is not like Backlink Solutions or Linkvana.
The blogs are not spammy looking and include all the bells and whistles found on legit sites.
The blogs will not be over posted and each post will remain on the high PR index page long enough to obtain the credit from G.
The Network is graduated. All newcomers will be limited to first tier blogs. At this stage you will be monitored and if you post to undesirable blogs you will be removed from the system as well as your posts.
Your posts will be controlled by the system. You don’t pick which blogs or the timing of the posting. This will be automated. There will be no blog list.
The blogs will have many non-linking posts on them as well. This will keep the blogs legit and avoid link de-valuation which both BS and LV were susceptible too.
These blogs will not lose PR as they will be gaining their own backlinks over time. The owner is also looking at a system for deep linking the sites so that there will be PR on the back pages as well as the index page.
There will be general blogs and niche specific blogs.
The number of users will be limited and monitored. Those with quality sites will move up to level two and eventually level three over the course of a few months. The top level will consist of premium PR4 and PR5 sites and users will have access to the entire network as well. It is hoped that by this stage all the spammers and inexperienced users will have been weeded out.
It is not in my nature to exclude people but in this case I agree with the owner. This program will be extremely powerful for those who know how to use it. Neither of us wish to see it sunk like BS. I believe that there are a few dozen of my readers who are at the stage where they can benefit from this greatly. A lot of you still need to develop your blogs and would be wasting both your time and money with this. Please don’t be offended if I feel you are not ready for this yet. We will be accepting more users as time goes on so keep plugging away and look for future invites.
As I said the program is still a few weeks away from launch but I thought I would do a little advance scouting and see who is interested. If I feel you are ready I will email you the URL when it is up and running.
This part sucks but I have to be honest – I already know who I think should join us. If you aren’t one of them I will be saying no for now but please don’t be offended. The fact is that this will only work with experienced users – especially until the bugs are worked out – and there will be bugs. We will open it up to a select group and then close the doors until we see the results. Later there will be room for others to join.
Nuff’ said – without naming names I’ll wait to hear from the people I hope will give this a go. I think you all know who I mean.
One last note – if I don’t know you well please forgo asking. Spend some time in the community and let me get to know you first.

Griz,
Good to finally see an LV alternative in the works, I’m thinking this is the same network one of our friends posted about “behind the shed”.
$127 is nothing to sneeze at, but its certainly worth it for a private network that is strictly regulated.
Look forward to hearing more about this,
MJ
Hey MJ,
Just thought I would mention that he would like to keep his name quiet out here in the public world. As for the price it should be negligible in light of what this network can do for the right people. I like the high fee simply because it will deter those who aren’t meant for this from joining.
Thanks for dropping in MJ.
That sounds like a really good idea, I am working on something similar but for private use
Hey Josh,
I wanted to buy his network just for myself – I was only half joking…
Hey Griz,
I often wondered why someone hasn’t come up with something like this before. I think BS and LV would have continued to work well if they had limited the number of people getting in.
My network isn’t anywhere 250 and $127 for access to a Network like this is a steal!
Donald
Hi Don,
There is a lot of things I would have done with BS and LV and fortunately this new network has taken those concerns to heart. I can’t wait for the doors to open. Thanks and nice to see you drop in.
Now I have a new goal Griz, eligibility to join this network.
Keep working on it Venkat – you’ll get there soon enough.
I would love to build a network up like that and I know exactly who you mean.
I’m not in a position yet to get in on his network. I’m just barely breaking the $200 mark now after working it for about 4 months. I have a few blogs in the sandbox — wait until they come out and it’ll be a different story.
RT,
It will be around for awhile so let me know when you feel ready.
I’m not in this league yet because my consulting work has eaten into my blogging time and slowed development. I’ve been streamlining my efforts to maximize return, but haven’t quite found a way to make it work-free yet.
For what it’s worth, I think this network is priced right for those who are ready.
Hi Carla,
Like I said to RT – let me know when you are ready. You both have great sites that can benefit from this.
Thanks, Griz. I definitely see the value and look forward to being ready soon.
Great idea Grizz, as always. I have been around your blogspot site and the Shed for ages, although I don’t comment to often – too scared to pop my head up and let Goog shoot it off. we have exchanged emails a few times though.
A good bunch mentioned as friends, Richard (RT) I just commented at your site – small world.
Coaster,
Nice to hear from you. Hope your site is making headway – I remember the emails and shed pm’s.
Yep, thanks Grizz. Adsense seems to be building at around 15% more each and every month! I am pleased with that!
Grizz,
This sounds like an excellent opportunity. Although I consider myself one of your constituents. I have not had the time to dedicate implementing all that you have been teaching. However, when I start dedicating more time I will definately look you up. I definately see the price as reasonable along with the value of what your doing. As the saying goes, money talks and we both know what walks..Hopefully when I get off the fence you’ll still be around.
Dennis,
Keep at it and get off the damn fence! Lol.
(Btw – I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon and this program should last a good long while.)
You mean I can’t add my 1000 scrapper splogs, YACG and HyperVRE sites to the network.

I’ll have some questions about it but I’ll put them in an email.
Frank,
Just returned your email. HyperVre – wow you do go all out!
Sounds interesting!!!
I sent you an email entitled: Private Network…
Look forward to hearing from you and thanks for the recommendations on the friends page!
Elliot,
Your welcome and I’ve sent an email back.
Hi Griz,
This sounds kinda cool and I am sure it is. Though I just started a new blog, all my measly income is derived from BANS at present. I would love to see the new blog break the barrier.
Costa,
I’m pulling for you and meant to ask – would you like the new site added to the Friendz List?
Sorry, i clicked the wrong nest! LOL.
Yes, please include the new blog in the list!
Hey Griz,
I’ve spoken with you a couple times and think what you guys are doing is great. I am not close to being ready to being able to use this service, but love the idea.
Just wanted to wish you all luck on getting this off the ground. If anyone deserves this to be successful it’s you. Without your advice and knowledge I wouldn’t even be where I am today (I realize I’ve just crossed a cheeziness threshold I may never return from, but I don’t care!!).
Good luck. I’ll be marking this post and hopefully someday I’ll have the infrastructure to take advantage of this.
Smalls,
Thanks for the warm wishes and encouragement. Hope to see you join the ranks one day. Stick with it and best of luck.
Oh Yes, Please!
I am building some blogs now. Hopefully I can join you in future. Let me know your ideas on my site also.
thanks.
Damn and I was looking forward to spending the next few weeks lazing by the pool with an endless supply of cold beers and beautiful women.
Now I’ll have to do some w-o-r-k LMAO!!!
umm… where does one find and endless supply of cold beer and um those other um…
Grizz coming from a fellow Canuck we both know we live in the land of endless beer… now a pool that it’s not to cold to lay around most days… harder to find
Why in your dreams of course! Same place I found mine… hehe
Hey Grizz,
I sent you an email “The New BS / LV” on the 13th. Hope you saw it. Also I sent you an email “Working Together Re: Your Last Post” on the 11th in response to your Making Money Quietly on the Blogspot blog.
Hope to hear back from you. I’m glad I’m starting to get to the place in the game where stuff like this can help me!
Griz,
Great idea. I know I am not ready for this yet. I am too new to the process but am working on it. Thanks for all the great info you’ve given to all of us.
Medic
Grizz, gotta add that I have sent an email back on the 13th about this.
I’ll go look for it Coaster – you always get sent to the trash bin. My filters have it in for you. Lol.
Darn it, now I wish I had commented on your blogs, even though I have them in my feed reader and I read all of your posts.
Question: how many different ip’s does the network possess?
Cata,
It’s never too late to start commenting and getting to know everyone. As for ip’s he has set the blogs up in groups and currently has about 10 blogs per IP. He will be adding more of both on a continuing basis.
I’m just making a couple bucks a day at this point. I’m building slowly. Otherwise, I would say count me in, but there’s not enough ROI at this point.
I hear you, Fiar, I’m in the same place. A grad student’s schedule does not allow for rapid building, unfortunately.
This is obviously going to be a powerful thing, but I’ll have to admit, your Kung-Fu is wayyyy too strong for me right now. I’m still building up…will join the big leagues eventually.
Hey Grizz,
This is way cool. Im pretty new around here, I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone, and working my way into the community. BTW, thanks for all the info on the blogger blog, and introducing me to the world of BU, The Honest Way, and Court’s Internet Marketing School…It’s been a cool ride.
Matt
Hi Grizz,
Very exciting – I can’t wait till I’m in the big leagues and something like this fits into the growth strategy. It seems to me thus far that this is somewhat of an exponential process that starts very slowly and builds up over time. Once I have some decent PR sites that I can throw G-juice around with, getting a new niche site up and off the ground will become somewhat easier.
I keep having to remind myself that I’ve only been doing this for ~45 days. I recently hit my first goal of averaging a dollar a day. On to two dollars. I’ve never written so much in my life..!
Allen
Hi Griz,
I have been busy doing what you say, rather than reading what you say, so all in all I only get to check your blog once a week.
If the owner of the shed, I go behind for a sneaky smoke, has anything to do with this it will be a very powerful weapon in the arsenal.
The only word of warning I can give you is this….there are people out there looking to destroy anyone in our group. Think about this, every time Vic shows one of his sites it gets reported to the big G. If I am right I think you have had similar problems at times, so what’s to stop these low life harming this network if they get in?
I would be very interested in joining, but the way things are I think it has come 6-8 weeks to soon for me.
All The Best, Take Care
JohnTighe
Give me time I’m sure I can prove myself worthy eventually.
see not ready yet couldn’t even anchor my site properly, lol
This seems like an awesome idea. Unfortunately, although I have been a longtime reader of Grizz, Vic’s, and Court’s sites, I rarely comment and participate, so I know there is no point in me trying to gain access now. I guess this goes to show that, despite knowing better, I have been taking the importance of networking for granted.
Also, I tried to gain access to Grizz’s private forum. I assumed that Grizz was just too busy and didn’t getting around to emailing me a password…but with Backlink solutions getting penalized and all that mess, could it just be that he is being careful? Is Grizz still allowing new users into the private forum?
Hello Griz, it’s the same Philip from your Make Money Online for Beginners site. I am glad that something is in the line for you guys and I agree you should make it a Private invite network, since it seems that there are always people out there ready to spoil your games. I hope it works for you guys and one day when I am ready, I hope to be accepted into the league.
Hi Griz,
You’ve mentioned that you don’t use Google Analytics because you don’t want G ‘knowing’ about all your stuff. Do you use webmaster tools? Maybe under several different accounts?
Thanks.
Hey Griz, you know who it is. We are getting close to a launch soon. If you can try to make it on skype this morning I am here. Thanks
I’ll be tied up till mid morning with check-ins at the Lodge but will log in later. (Nice URL… lol)
Maybe we can try this again?
I think reputation is what works with programs such as this. If it was anyone other then you that was push this, i wouldn’t even bother looking it over. But because of your reputation, and cause you’re cool like that. i want in!
I’m a new reader and don’t really know what is going on here but I’m excited about it to I’ll be in touch. Still doing the beginners lessons. Thanks
opps….it’s going to be a lonnnnng journey for me to reach that level…
Hey Grizz,
Just wanted to drop a thanks for the heads up on this. You Vic and Court have been amazing. Thanks for all the help!
Kevan
Hi Grizz,
I also sent an email asking to be admitted to the private forum you mentioned. Is that forum still open to newcomers?
I have been spending most of my time at Blogger Unleashed and the Affiliate Academy. I just started your beginner adsense lessons and my first ugly blogger blog (which has the word ‘beginner’ in it btw!) just got indexed. Looking to put adsense on it right after the Christmas rush. Isn’t my timing just perfect? Oh well, next year will be a good one, eh?
Looking forward to succeeding at adsense and getting better at building anchored backlinks.
Diane
Griz,
I have around 200 niche sites. I have been quietly “re-purposing” all the content (each site has 10-30 unique articles) into a white-hat source for links. I created blogs spread over new IPs with the content set to post at a rate of one article every 3 days. We’ll see how this pans out. Of course, I sprinkled in some other content with CC. This new service looks like a great asset as it can pull up a few of my niche sites that get nice $/click but not enough traffic.
TomG.
I’m starting a new blogging network and just wanted to say that I’ve been reading our blogs and really enjoying all of the great information that you have to offer. I just started blogging a couple days ago so I’m still pretty new to all of this. The website is a network of blogs that branch out to teach various ideas and information that I’d like to share with the world. Thanks for everything you offer.
